Jason Wu for Target
Yes… I got sucked into the hype of designer collaboration Marni with H&M after seeing the below Sofia Coppola video. I had laid out a plan of what I wanted to buy, I woke up early and strapped my little man to the front of me. I saw myself causally walking around the store taking pics with my iPhone and sharing the images with you today. Well, I was sorely sorely mistaken! Needless to say I was not causally shopping and taking pics, I didn’t even see one piece from the collection. If I would have read this blog post I would have realized how silly I was. People were lined up outside the store hours before they opened. So when the little man and I arrived we didn’t get to see a beautiful collection, we got to see a mob. I took one glance at the chaos and realized this was no place for us! I laughed at myself for thinking this would a fun outing with a baby (or without for that matter) and we headed straight outside to enjoy the most beautiful day of the year. In the end I got my fashion collaboration fix by swinging by Target on the way home and finding a Jason Wu dress for 30% off!! Lesson learned.
