Easy DIY Baby Leg Warmers

Posted by on May 18, 2012

Now that Walker is trying to crawl, I’ve been looking to get him some leg warmers so he doesn’t splinter up his knees on our old rough hardwood floors. I stumbled upon this great cheap way to make leg warmers from my thrifty friend Brittney.

I bought these long women’s socks from Target for $2.50. Then took a pair of scissors and cut the sock at the ankle into two separate pieces. The longer piece works perfect as baby leg warmers and are cheaper than these similar amazon leg warmers that run for $12 and up.

The finished product

I think he likes them and I like how easy they make diaper changing.

Cheers

Aly

LOVE it! You rock, Aly. Walker is looking cuter than ever.
I just bought 2 pair of the Babylegs leg warmers at our local consignment shop for $4 each so your price beats that! :)
I’m so excited to have Van wear these as it will make diaper changing easier as well as ECing! (elimination communication – we’ve started putting Van on a little potty…trying to learn his cues of when he has to go… he’s gone on the potty twice now! I’ll post on it more later.)
